Common complaints
- Prices on its own site are often higher than the same plants at big-box retailers
- Some got smaller plants than expected
"The quality of the plants were healthy and packaged very well to protect from shipping damage." u/BestComputerDeals, r/Tradescantia, Jul 2024, source
"Costa farms online store is more expensive than buying from retailers who carry their plants." r/houseplants comment, Mar 2022, source
Who it suits
Well packed, but often pricier direct than at big-box stores that sell the same plants. Always photograph a delivery as you unbox it, because the guarantee claim usually needs photos.
