Services we can help you find
Office plant maintenance
A technician visits on a set schedule to water, clean, prune, feed and check your plants for pests, and replaces plants that decline. You usually own the plants.
Ask a provider:
- How often will you visit, and what does each visit include?
- Do you replace plants that decline, and at whose cost?
- What happens if we need to pause or cancel?
Plant leasing
The provider supplies the plants and pots and keeps ownership, and maintenance is usually bundled in for a recurring fee. Good if you don't want to buy plants up front.
Ask a provider:
- Who owns the plants and containers, and what happens when the contract ends?
- Is maintenance and plant replacement included in the fee?
- What is the minimum contract length?
Event plant rental
Plants, trees or arrangements are delivered for a set period, such as a conference, launch, wedding or trade show, and then collected.
Ask a provider:
- Is delivery, setup and pickup included?
- What happens if a plant is damaged during the event?
- Can the plants handle the venue's light and temperature for the rental period?
Corporate plant gifting
Plants sent to employees, clients or new hires, often with branded cards or pots, delivered to one address or many.
Ask a provider:
- Can you ship to several addresses and in which states?
- What happens if a plant arrives damaged?
- Can recipients with pets get a pet-safe plant?
Interior plant design and installation
A one-time project: the provider plans plants for your space (lobby, office floor, living walls), then supplies and installs them. Maintenance can be added after.
Ask a provider:
- Will you visit the site and measure light before proposing plants?
- Are containers, installation and a warranty period included?
- Do you offer maintenance after installation?
Questions to ask any provider
- Are you insured, and can you share a certificate of insurance?
- Can you give references from businesses of a similar size?
- What is in the contract: term, notice period, price changes?
- Which plants do you suggest for our actual light, and are they safe for pets if people bring dogs to work? You can check any plant against the ASPCA list in our Pet-Safe Plant Checker.

FAQ
Who will I hear from?
We will connect you with plant-service providers in your area that fit your request. We are building our network of providers, so availability depends on your location and service type; if we can't find a good fit, we'll tell you.
Does Plantshop.com provide the service itself?
No. We are an independent plant-buying guide. Providers set their own prices, contracts and terms, so check them before you sign.
Is there a cost to request quotes?
No. Requesting quotes through this form is free and doesn't commit you to anything.
Do office plants clean the air?
Not in a way you would notice. A 2019 review of studies found that the number of potted plants needed to match the air cleaning of a building's normal ventilation is far higher than any office would hold (Cummings and Waring, 2019). Choose plants for how they look and feel, not as air purifiers.
Can you suggest pet-safe plants for an office with dogs?
Yes. Tell us in the notes. You can also check any plant in our Pet-Safe Plant Checker, which uses the ASPCA plant list.
